Terms and conditions

Welcome to Media Wall Fire Co. These terms and conditions (“terms”) govern your use of our website www.mediawallfireco.co.uk, as well as any purchases, bookings, or services you make with us, including media wall design, supply, and installation.

 

By accessing our site, placing an order, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or website.

 

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Customer sales

  • Product specs are a guide only—verify before purchase.

  • Orders confirmed by email; customers must check for errors within 12 hours.

  • VAT invoices are available upon request.

  • Availability may change; refunds issued if an item becomes unavailable, but no compensation for inconvenience.

Delivery

  • Free standard UK delivery (some Highland postcodes excluded).

  • Pallet deliveries are kerbside only—buyer must arrange to move goods inside.

  • Usual dispatch: up to 2 weeks (can be longer—buyer will be informed).

  • Deliveries Mon–Fri; Sat delivery available at extra charge.

  • Damaged items must be reported within 24 hours and marked on the delivery note.

  • Redelivery or failed delivery incurs extra fees.

  • Items delivered only to billing/registered address unless agreed.

  • Installation = acceptance; items must be checked prior.

Installations

  • No fitting service is provided.

  • Buyer responsible for correct product choice, storage, and compliance with regulations (Building, HETAS, Gas Safe).

  • Do not book fitters until items are received and inspected.

  • No liability for costs if delays affect installation scheduling.

  • Fitting requires qualified personnel—ensure installers are certified.

Cancellations

  • 14-day cooling-off period under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014.

  • After 14 days: 20% + VAT restocking fee applies.

  • Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense.

  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging, and returned securely on a pallet.

  • All free promotional items must also be returned or their value is deducted from the refund.

  • Damaged or used goods are non-refundable.

Faulty items

  • First check manual troubleshooting tips.

  • Report faults with order & serial numbers.

  • Faulty goods may be repaired or replaced depending on severity.

Warranties

  • Manufacturer warranties valid only if installed correctly by qualified installers.

  • Extended warranties require annual servicing.

  • Some consumable parts excluded.

  • Registration with the manufacturer may be required.

Privacy and security

  • Customer data is securely stored and never sold.

Price match promise

  • No guaranteed price match, but they aim to beat competitors.

  • Only applies to like-for-like items in stock on both sites.

  • Marketplace sites (e.g., eBay, Amazon) excluded.

  • Limited to one order per customer.
